How To Cut Lemon Twist


Time Required: Approx. 5 mins.

Directions:

Wash lemon.
Use a cutting board and paring knife.
Cut ends off just to the pulp.
Hold the lemon securely around the middle.
Slice lengthwise just down to the pulp, but do not cut into it.
Continue slicing around the lemon in quarter inch slices.
Starting at tip of lemon, gently pull up a slice of peal, making sure the fruit is not attached.
Using the rind edge of the lemon, run it around the outside of the glass.
Holding each end with your fingers twist it over the glass.

Tips:

If the first twist get stuck on the lemon, use a spoon (rounded parts together) to make the lemon slide again.
Save leftovers in a sealed container in the fridge, or use tight away for juice.
